The first step in the preservation process is getting in touch with us! Fill out our contact form in as much detail as possible and we will get back to you within 24 hours to let you know if we are available to take on your project.

Once we have confirmed your date and opened communication we will discuss design details for your art piece. All of our options will be sent out to you, including; artwork size, frame colour, glass choice and design styles. We want you to be happy with your final piece so we allow as much input from you as you’d like.

After your event rolls around, we will need to receive the flowers quickly (within 3 working days) to ensure that we can press your bouquet as fresh as possible, to achieve the best end results. You can ship your flowers to us or organise a drop off if you live nearby- Shipping instructions and care will be sent to you well in advance so you can have your package set up and prepared to post when the time comes.

Upon receiving your blooms we will deconstruct the bouquet and place them in the press to dry. We use a variety of pressing techniques, checking on and changing the press regularly and when necessary. The process of pressing flowers isn’t speedy! It can take up to 8 weeks to complete. It’s a delicate procedure; the petals and flowers need to dry out completely in the press- often evolving and changing colour over time. We want your art to be of the best quality, so we don’t rush it and let the flowers take their time to change naturally. We will provide you with updates throughout this time and confirm your frame choices.

Once dry and out of the press we will create your art piece. It is at this point that we will see if any of your flowers need colour correcting and discuss with you whether you’d like it or not. After that, we will lay the flowers out and send you a photo, checking you are happy with the placement before officially gluing it down in place. Then its slotted into its chosen frame.

Now is the best part! The piece is complete and ready to head back home to you. It can be shipped or picked up which will be organised in advance. This can be up to 6 months after we receive the bouquet but now you’ve got it for life! We will provide you with care information on how to reduce the natural fading of the artwork and where to avoid placing it. We hope you love it. Enjoy!
